Energy flexibility makes it possible to shift loads, better integrate renewable energy and tap into new business models \u2013 without losing sight of user comfort. Our goal is to bring together requirements from the perspectives of science, business and users \u00a0for our <span style=\"color: #0563c1;\"><u><a href=\"https:\/\/projekte.ffg.at\/projekt\/5131512\">&#8220;EnerFlexBuildings&#8221; research project<\/a><\/u><\/span>.<\/p>\n<p>There will be a particular focus on the <b>further development of the &#8220;EnerFlex controlling unit &#8221; [\u201eEnerFlex-Steuer.Koffer\u201c]<\/b>, which records system and comfort-related data, analyses the building-specific flexibility potential and uses reinforcement learning to develop suitable control strategies for the comfort-oriented activation of storage masses.<\/p>\n<p><b>Workshop content<\/b><\/p>\n<p>In the first part of the workshop &#8220;Energy Flexibility in Practice&#8221;, we will present technical input on the topic of energy flexibility in buildings and the current project status. In the second part, we invite you to actively contribute your perspectives, experiences and expectations.<\/p>\n<p><b>1.
